InnovaTEr is an online competition open to all employees of TE Telecom Networks who have innovative ideas about new business generation or productivity improvement.

Assisted by team mates and coaches, players of the InnovaTEr game transform their ideas into powerful business proposals while competing with other teams. Top 5 ideas will have the opportunity to present their case to senior management and the winning team in each category (new business generation or productivity improvement) will see its proposal executed in real life.

In the virtual world of InnovaTEr, 'entrepreneurs' and 'talents' meet each other and form teams. Every team is assisted by 'investors'. 'Investors' are members of TE management - analytical persons with strong business sense who help teams overcome the challenges of venture capital market dynamics.

The InnovaTEr game is an online game. It can be played anywhere, anytime, with team members from all over the world.

Phase 0 (Sept 5 – 23): Registration.
Phase I (Sept 23 – Oct 21): Write business plan + create team.
Phase II (Oct 21 – Dec 23): Investors interact with entrepreneurs.
Phase III (Mid Jan 2012): Final round. Top 5 teams present to a grand jury of executives, selecting one winner in each category.

The InnovaTEr game is open to all employees of TE Telecom Networks. People from other divisions can participate, as long as they have ideas in the realm of Telecom Networks.

InnovaTEr is a game of teams. Participants enter the competition as individuals, but have to form teams of entrepeneurs and talents in order to find investors. InnovaTEr can be a great place to meet new people and to present your talents and skills to colleagues and management.
